Hug a Bear Poem - Poetry Corner (with Quarterly free bear contest)
Poetry corner is a fun part of the My Picture Teddy Bear site where you are welcome to submit any and all poetry about teddy bears. Upon our review, we’ll post your teddy bear poem on the site for all to see! We’ve seen a lot of teddy bear poems over the years and have enjoyed them. In sharing your "Teddy Bear Joy", you’ll feel like a true part of our special teddy bear community. If you have a passion for these adorable little creatures like we do, then you’ll get a lot out of knowing others that share your passion. Poetry is truly "music for the soul", combining words and thoughts into beautiful imagery of significance and meaning.
collectible, unique, personalized, huggable bears bring joy to all who receive them! We encourage all recipients of these special bears to write in and add some poetry to the site. Whether you are a teacher, part of a Boy Scout of Girl Scout troop, karate class, dance class, graduating class, or engaged couple, we welcome your contribution. Also, all parents and children of all ages are welcome to join in the poetry fun and share your special thoughts. All poems that are suitable for viewing will be posted on the site. More Than Just Poetry
But there’s more to it than just poetry. Four times a year, we will also hold a special contest for all of those who have submitted poetry. A member from the World of Poets will review the poems and select the winner of the "best Teddy Bear poem". The winner will be awarded a collectible, personalized Teddy Bear and we will designate those winning poems on the site. The poems will be organized by submission date.
The unique, personalized collectible bear for 2007 poetry winners is Tully. You can select him with or without glasses and can personalize your t-shirt. Your shipping is also FREE, as part of your award. We value your talent and want you to have one of our exceptional collectables!
Please note: Winners are required to submit a picture of themselves with the bear that
can be posted on the website for the next quarter with their first name and state of residence.
